 The Mission of Jesus was –
to make known to us the love of the Father
and show us the way to Him.
Knowing our weakness, Jesus sent the spirit
to strengthen His followers to live as God’s people.
This mission Jesus shared with His Apostles and Church.
This mission has been passed on to us in Howard Beach.

At Our Lady of Grace, we continue –
to proclaim God’s love
to journey together as His followers
to depend on the Spirit and to build up the Kingdom of God
here and now, in our midst.

At Our Lady of Grace, we believe –
that religious education is a life-long process;
that the goal of religious education is to know God
and to respond to God in one’s life;
that the role of the catechist is to facilitate this process
by sharing faith and by good example;
that each child entrusted to us is uniquely loved
by the Lord and is called to a loving relationship with Him

that together –
with the religious education staff
the parents/guardians
the children
are called to build a
Christian Community in
the City of God.
