We are a welcoming Roman Catholic parish rooted in faith, tradition, and community. Serving the families of Howard Beach and our proud Italian and Irish heritage, we strive to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through prayer, worship, service, and love of neighbor.
United as one parish family, we seek to deepen our relationship with God through the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the Sacraments, devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the rich traditions of our Catholic faith. We are committed to nurturing faith in every generation, supporting families, caring for those in need, and building a community where all are welcomed, valued, and encouraged to grow in holiness.

Our History
Founded in 1924, Our Lady of Grace Church has been a spiritual home for generations of families in Howard Beach. What began as a small Catholic community grew through the faith, sacrifice, and dedication of parishioners who sought to build a parish centered on Jesus Christ and devotion to the Blessed Mother.
For more than a century, Our Lady of Grace has served as a place of worship, prayer, and fellowship for the many families who have called this neighborhood home. Deeply rooted in the traditions of the Catholic faith and enriched by the strong Italian and Irish heritage of the community, the parish has remained a beacon of hope, faith, and service through times of joy, challenge, growth, and change.
Throughout the years, countless baptisms, First Holy Communions, Confirmations, weddings, and funerals have been celebrated within our church walls, marking the sacred moments that unite generations of parish families. The faith passed down by parents, grandparents, clergy, and religious sisters continues to inspire new generations to know, love, and serve God.
Today, Our Lady of Grace remains a vibrant parish community committed to proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating the Sacraments, caring for those in need, and fostering a welcoming environment for all. As we honor our rich history, we look forward with gratitude and hope, trusting in God's providence and the loving intercession of Our Lady of Grace.

Our Leadership
We are blessed to be guided by our pastor, whose dedication, faith, and pastoral care continue to strengthen and inspire our parish community.
Through his thoughtful and engaging homilies, our pastor helps us understand the beauty of the Gospel and how to live our Catholic faith in today's world. His messages encourage parishioners to deepen their relationship with Christ, remain faithful to the teachings of the Church, and embrace the joy of being practicing Catholics in an increasingly challenging society.
Under our Pastor leadership, Our Lady of Grace has become a vibrant center of faith and community life. From celebrating the rich traditions of the Church and honoring the feast days of the saints, to organizing parish events, devotions, charitable outreach, and opportunities for fellowship, he continually reminds us that our Catholic faith is meant to be lived, shared, and celebrated.
Father Dominick's vision is rooted in preserving the treasures of our Catholic heritage while welcoming new generations into the life of the Church. Through prayer, the Sacraments, community activities, and devotion to Our Blessed Mother, he encourages all parishioners to grow in holiness and to take pride in being faithful witnesses of Christ.
Together with our clergy, religious sisters, parish staff, volunteers, and dedicated parishioners, Father Dominick continues to foster a parish family where faith is nurtured, traditions are honored, and all are invited to encounter the love and mercy of God.
